She carries an M.A. in Community Development & Social Justice and is a Bahá'í, wife, mother, Colombian/Honduran, breast cancer survivor, and a fiercely kind human being.

Selene has over 12 years of experience in community organizing for environmental and social justice. Her Initiatives as an environmental educator for sustainable development that focuses on a humanistic economic future, one driven by social-ecological well-being and international cooperation, above profits and speculation.
